Baby Thomson #2 Is A...

So we had the ultrasound today! We're glad that it's over - we didn't like this place nearly as much as the place we went to for Kaylee's ultrasound. This place was running real late (Holly had a full bladder too) and they didn't even let Jared go in for the first 30 min. But when we finally got to see the monitor and see the baby moving and healthy etc, we were quite happy!

We both thought that it would be a girl, so we were shocked to hear them say BOY! We're both very excited, even though we're still trying to let it soak in.

Here's the proof!

First Skinned Knee

Poor little Kaylee (finally - not that we were cheering it on, or anything...) got her first skinned knee the other day. I'm sure that it won't be the last, though. She cried pretty good but was OK when we told her she could get a band-aid on it. Silly girl! Here she is pointing it out...

Baby Thomson #2 is on the way!

We have some good news...baby Thomson #2 is in the oven!!! Yea!!!

Due date is Nov 1st and all is well so far. Holly hasn't had too much nausea - just tired (who knows if that's from being pregnant or from chasing Kaylee around all day - or both). We're very excited to grow our family! Even though we've been through it once before, it's still so amazing!

Kaylee and Addi!

Last weekend Jared's brother, his wife Jami and their 3 month-old daughter Addi came down to visit good ole SoCal (Jason had a buddy getting married). It was SO much fun having them here! And Kaylee LOVES little Addi (and all babies, for that matter). It was so fun watching them together.

While Jason and Jami were in the temple, we got to watch Addi. Or I guess it turned out that Jared watched Addi and Holly watched Kaylee. Who had the busier morning?

We don't know when the next time we'll see Jason, Jami and Addi, but we sure had fun with them and we wish them well in Houston!

Easter Dress[es]!!!

Well it probably comes as no surprise that Kaylee is very taken care of when it comes to her wardrobe. Being the first grandchild on both sides of the family certainly has its advantages. Hahaha...

Fun times at the park...

These pics were from a while ago, but we wanted to put them up anyway. Kaylee LOVES going to the park! It was a lot of fun having her cousin Tyler there too.

Kaylee is Two!

Kaylee is two years old!!! Who can believe it?!? We certainly can't. She's learning and growing so much every day it's crazy. Well we had a fun 'Elmo' party for Kaylee on April 4th. Her Auntie Kelly made an awesome Elmo cake for her (thanks again!) and she loved it. We had a wonderful time with family and all enjoyed seeing Kaylee be Kaylee. Here are a few pics...

This picture was on Facebook and a friend commented about how they could see something similar happening in about 14 years - cute girl, new car, shopping etc...we prefer not to think about that right now!!!

Utah Trip

We got to go to Utah March 26-31 to visit family and participate in Kaylee's cousin Addison's baby blessing. It was SO much FUN! We barely survived the airplane flight with an almost two year old bouncing off the walls. 35 degree weather and snow flurries greeted us when we got off the plane...Kaylee learned how to say 'snow' very quickly. But we had a great time and it was WONDERFUL seeing family.
