Me & The Easter Boppy

By the way...a 'boppy' is the little donut shaped thing that Kaylee is resting on. It's mom's best friend come nursing time.

Today is Easter Sunday - Kaylee's first Easter. She's wearing a stylish 'premie' outfit that her grandma Jan picked out for her. It's a good thing too because this is her only outfit that fits her at the moment! I'm sure that she'll grow into her clothes; actually I'm afraid that she will! Can't she stay this tiny forever?

This is my Auntie Kelly - she's the best. I love when she comes over to visit me...It seems like every time she does, I get a new outfit! As far as I'm concerned, you can come over whenever you want!

All right mom and dad, I know that I'm so tiny and cute, but will you please put some clothes on me now? By the way, see the foot ma'? That's what was causing you all that pain last week.

Ah, that's better. I sure do like this outfit. Keeps me nice and warm. And it's always nice when a girl can find something that fits!

I guess I'll try and get some sleep now. Maybe I'll dream that I'm super woman...fly fly away (nice pink cape)!

Ok, ok, ok. Who's tired? Kaylee is!

Now dad, you know that that's not my best angle! I look like a cute little frog.

Burping sure is tough. It's enough to make an adorable little baby girl tired! Oh wait, I'm always tired...

Cute, cute, cute! Nothing more to say!

We posted another video of Kaylee. Sorry for the bad orientation! Now we'll know for next time.

Welcome Home Kaylee!!!

We are both just so happy to have our sweet little girl with us...who knew that parenting would be so awesome? We went to the doctor's office on Wednesday for a check up and the doctor sent us straight to the hospital. We arrived at 12:30pm, the doctor broke Holly's water around 1:30, started the pitocin shortly after and just before 6:00 Holly was ready to push...and push she did! At a tad before 7:00pm our little Kaylee Elizabeth Thomson came into this world! It all went very smoothly (although you might want to check with Holly on that) and we couldn't be happier (although a little more sleep would be nice)!
We hope that you all enjoy the pictures.
Mom and baby are doing well (and dad too).

Here's Holly right as we arrived at the hospital.
Wednesday, April 4th, 2007.

It's so cold out here...let me back in!

And now...in the right corner...
wearing the...invisible trunks...
weighing in at a whopping 5lbs 5oz and measuring 18" (a generous measurement)
Kaylee Thomson!!!
She started smacking that tongue right from the start...
Hi Dad! What am I supposed to do with your finger?

Now there's a couple of proud parents!
Only one word describes her - precious.
My parents keep telling me that I'm the prettiest baby ever.
I tell them that I got it from my mom. I love my grandma Jan. She always knows how to make me happy!
This was right after my grandpa Ron gave me a bottle.
I think we're going to get along just fine. I'm not sure why these two horns are poking out of my hat.
I'm an angel...really. All right mom, I think I'm ready to go home...
Well, maybe after this yawn...

Ok, give me another minute or two...
I'll be ready soon...Ok, I'm ready to go home now.

We're home at last. The car ride home sure was nice too. Thanks for holding my head up mom...it's so heavy!I have to thank my Grandpa and Grandma Thomson for the hat and booties. They sure do keep me warm!Do you think that there is another baby out there that is as cute as I am? I doubt it.I'm not sure what's making me frown, but I sure do like throwing my mom and dad for a loop! Sleep...sleep...sleep...a baby's life is tough.I'm definitely Daddy's Little Girl.
